Dr. Gal Markel is an Assistant Professor and Chief Scientist of the Ella Institute of Melanoma, Sheba Medical Center. His specialties include immunology and immunotherapy in oncology; biomarkers in oncology, and post-transcriptional molecular regulation of cancer cell biology. In his studies, Dr Markel seeks to understand cancer pathogenesis and to develop innovative therapeutic approaches. cCAM was founded based on research conducted by Dr. Markel.
